The Law Office of André J. Ausseresses, APC understands that the court system can be slow, but it is the best vehicle to resolve family law issues. However, if a child is in any type of danger, We have a philosophical view that we must proceed on an ex-parte (emergency) basis so as to protect the minor child. If we proceed on an ex-parte basis and even if no orders are granted, the other party is on notice that our office will be diligent regarding the minor child’s safety.
The hardest thing to determine is where is the line between inappropriate and unsafe actions. Only after review of the facts can one analyze them to make that determination. If there is any question about certain actions, our philosophy is to err on the side of caution when it involves the safety of a minor child.
